Since their 2011 hit collaboration “Yours”, Panorama Bar resident DJs Steffi and Virginia have continued to explore new ways of expressing their approach to dancefloor melancholy. Recorded in their Portuguese home and studio Candy Mountain, their new album Patterns Of Vibration came out via Dekmantel in late April, which they will present live on Sunday evening on the Säule floor. New Jersey-born, LA-based Todd Edwards is considered one of the most influential architects of UK garage. He started releasing in the early 90s on New York label Nervous Records and went on to create a unique sound of chopped-up vocal samples, swinging house beats and funky basslines that inspired plenty of copycats. His tracks contributed significantly to the emergence of UK garage, speed garage and dubstep. He collaborated with Daft Punk on two albums and, after a burnout, took a break from 2001 to 2010. Six years after his last gig here, Edwards is returning to Panorama Bar.
