Resident at Brussels' Fuse Club, Berlin-based vinyl DJ Marie-Julie has a penchant for physically demanding yet nuanced techno sounds. In recent years, she has cultivated an almost surgical aesthetic deeply rooted in industrial and EBM. She dissects rhythms to reassemble them into driving, often darkly atmospheric sequences. Following her Säule debut in October, Marie-Julie will be making her main-floor debut at this all-female edition of Klubnacht. Katia Curie is co-founder of the Explity Music collective and is known for her ability to build bridges between divergent genres. Her style oscillates between electro elements, Italo influences and cold wave. Born in Morocco, Malika grew up in Casablanca and moved away at the age of 18 and has since lived in numerous places, including Paris (where she financed her first turntables while studying), Berlin, Barcelona and the USA. Her sets take on a more organic, percussive approach, based on house with influences from jazz and hip-hop, often complemented by layering a cappellas over instrumental tracks. Curie and Malika are both playing at Panorama Bar.
